Right after a very brief visit to Montreal Mr. K and I are back in Toronto. Funny thing happened while we were there: both my computer and cell phone died a very fast and unexpected death. That is why there were no posts.
After coming back and rotating some boxes around I came to realize I have too much of things that do not add value to my life either anymore or whatsoever. When I say stuff I mean actual objects that have been in my possession for a very long time.
Long story short, I am selling everything! The only objects I will keep are going to be everyday clothes, makeup, jewelry and accessories that do not go out of style and are comfortable. If you want to see what I mean by comfortable and stylish you can see my “Cassic Travel Style” board on Pinterest. ๐
Since I did not know anything about garage sales or how to throw them I decided to Google some tips. I won’t rewrite someone else’s work but I will provide the sources that I used. All of them have great tips that I haven’t even thought about at all.
I really recommend the following garage sale tips:
- http://www.canadianliving.com/life/money/9_ways_to_throw_a_successful_garage_sale_2.php
- http://www.yardsalequeen.com/yardsale-garagesale-scams.htm
- there is also this moving company that offers great tips on sorting, moving, and selling your unwanted “treasures”
What am I going to do with the money? It is all going to a new cell phone or a computer fund. I hope it will all work out since the sale is this Saturday (June 21st).
Have any tips on garage sales? Please type away!
Check out my follow up post where I tell how much I made and what I bought with it!
