Well, the name says it all. Mr K, his parents, and myself have officially reached the fantasy land:) Hobbit town or Hobbiton, officially, is the place to be if you want to see the famous Shire from The Lord of the Rings movie. Unfortunately, these little hobbit houses were not livable so we couldn’t stay there for forever. What you will see are just the facades, the rest (interior) were done in a studio warehouse:( Oh well.
The Shire village was still awesome. It was full of scenery and cute gardens. You just could not help but fantasize about adorable hobbits planting veggies, playing outside, and watching each other. 🙂
Sr. Peter Jackson did a marvelous job creating this mini hobbit universe. Can you tell that I feel excited?
