Whatever anyone says about fashion and how it is shallow and predictable, expensive and fast, some of it is here to stay. Over the centuries fashion and its attitude produced some good, timeless, and simple pieces. White T-shirt is a good example.
I am so excited to introduce the new thing I am trying: travel style addition. And the best way to start a new venture is by studding tried and true successes in the fashion and style industry. Check the videos below. They are everything you or I need to know about fashion evolution. Notice how a women* video ends with a classic white top. I bet there is a reason for that.
I just love these two videos.
The first post in this section is going to be about the great white t-shirt. The one and only, the queen and necessity in any wardrobe, especially a travel one. Here we are ladies and gents. I am presenting to you several ways of showing your hot bod in this simple wardrobe staple: the white t-shirt.
Why is it as good as it sounds?
Only because it goes with everything, can be styled up or down, makes everything look fresh and new, and no make up look looks good with it. White T is also inexpensive and can be bought anywhere in the world. If you are missing some crispy goodness of a white t-shirt in your closet, do yourselves a favor and go buy some. 🙂 Available in different lengths, styles, materials, and finishes you are bound to find the one that fits your particular style! I know I have one or two, or three… 🙂
White T shirt has lived a fine life as an undergarment for a long time but since Marlon Brando it has became an extra cool yet basic addition in everyone’s wardrobe.
The shirts became even more popular in the 1950s after Marlon Brando wore one in A Streetcar Named Desire, finally achieving status as fashionable, stand-alone, outerwear garments. Often boys wore them while doing chores and playing outside, eventually opening up the idea of wearing them as general-purpose casual clothing.
Recommended stores for the most affordable options are: Joe Fresh (only in Canada), H & M (everywhere), and Uniqlo (everywhere except Canada). These are my personal favorites where I know that the price per cost per wear is right.

May be I will feature them in the next post! 🙂
